Description

Lewis Lumber Products is searching for a Sales Associate, Apply Today! The Sales Associate will handle incoming customer inquiries for both lumber and wood component parts, develop and manage both new and existing customer, and interact with scheduling with trucking and production.

Lewis Lumber Products is your source for fine hardwood and softwood mouldings and custom architectural millwork, flooring, paneling, decking and live edge flitches. Located in Northcentral Pennsylvania, we are situated in the center of the highest quality, temperate hardwood forests in the world. Lewis Lumber Products uses timber carefully harvested by our sister company, Dwight Lewis Lumber. We strive to use only sustainable forest resources that cause negligible disturbance to the environment.



Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

  • Sales Order and Work Order data input
  • Fielding of inquiries from Customers
  • Coordination of delivery and production issues with salesperson


Requirements:

  • Education- HS Degree or GED required, Secondary Schooling or equivalent industry experience required
  • Experience-Previous sales experience, preferred in Hardwood Mfg., Woodworking, or Building/Construction materials
  • Skills- Verbal Communication, Phone & Social Media, Personal interaction, Computer Software navigation
  • Knowledge-Microsoft Office, Outlook use, Computer Data input
  • Abilities- Math, Detail Oriented, Driven to meet goals, Prospecting skills
  • Physical- Sitting at desk with computer input, walking in an office environment, occasional walking into production area, driving company car, occasional overnight sales calls.


Additional Details:

  • Full Time
  • Work Hours: 7:30am -4:30am
  • Pay level- dependent on qualifications
