Forcey Lumber Company has been a leader in the Hardwood Lumber industry for over 70 years and four generations. Located in the heart of the “Hardwood country” Forcey lumber Company has two locations: the Hardwood concentration yard is located in Woodland, Pa and the Veneer Plant located in Clearfield, Pa.
Individual will be part of a 3-man team directly involved with production of sliced Veneers for the Hardwood plywood industry. Individual will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic working environment. Catch and stack veneer from slicer and maintain order/sequence as it is produced Clean/organize pre-& post runs Identify defective product and manage order of sequence. Organize work area after production to prepare for next shift. Assist in preparing raw material to load/unload vats.
No previous skills required – our team will train the applicant.
Must be dependable and have Good overall work ethic.
Need to be able to work well with others.
Growth potential to motivated individual that is willing to learn.
Work Week: Monday to Friday with some overtime. No Weekends or Major Holidays
