The Ned Smith Center is in a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located Millersburg, Pennsylvania, a half-hour drive North from Harrisburg. The Center’s mission is to honor the legacy of wildlife artist Ned Smith by merging the arts and natural world through education, exhibition, and experiences. Our lands feature over 500 acres and 9 miles of hiking trails to explore. The Sourbeer & Lick Education Building houses our classroom, offices, meeting room, and three art galleries, including the Ned Smith Gallery which features a rotating collection of art from world-renowned wildlife artist Ned Smith.
The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art is seeking a college-level student who has successfully completed at least one year of college and is pursuing a degree in environmental education, art(s) education, or a conservation-related field to apply for a summer internship position with the Center. This three-month position will begin on Wednesday June 1, 2022 and conclude on Friday, August 19, 2022; dates may be flexible to work with school schedule.
